Research approval has a defined scope
A Mission describes what Tandem should look for and how it should research on a configured schedule. Approval applies to those instructions, including the interpreted targeting and relevant boundaries.
It does not automatically approve accepting records into the CRM, researching every possible person or executing a customer-facing action.
Review the downstream decision
Before contact discovery, check that the account is suitable and worth the additional research. Before CRM acceptance, check that it belongs in your process. Before outreach, review the recipient, content, evidence and relevant suppression or approval controls.
A recommendation can support the decision, but it is not a substitute for the decision.
Keep the boundary visible to the team
Agree who owns each step during implementation and use the controls available in your workspace. Make sure people understand the difference between a prepared draft, an approved action and an executed action.
When the scope is unclear, resolve it before proceeding. The principle is simple: proactive research should not silently become uncontrolled customer-facing activity.
These guides explain Tandem’s product approach and the packages described on this website. Feature access, connections and execution controls depend on your agreed package and workspace configuration.
