When a Mission is not finding opportunities

Check status, schedule, scope and allowance before assuming the research is broken.

Check whether research can run

Review the Mission’s status and any explanation shown in your workspace. Check for a paused or blocked state, a missing required source or an exhausted allowance.

Compare the last check and next scheduled check with when you expected activity. Do not assume that saving a brief immediately produces a new set of opportunities.

Check whether the brief is too restrictive

Review territory, company size, sector, signal requirements and exclusions together. A narrow combination may genuinely have no suitable new evidence at that moment.

Change one constraint at a time and keep the commercial goal intact. Broadening every rule can create more results while making them much less useful.

Escalate with useful detail

Record the Mission reference, non-sensitive status message, when you last expected a run and what changed. Describe whether you see no research activity or research that returns no suitable results; they are different problems.

Use the contact page or email hello@itstandem.com. Do not send passwords, API keys or customer data that is not needed to understand the issue. A Mission is not guaranteed to find an opportunity on every run.

Keep your workspace in mind.

These guides explain Tandem’s product approach and the packages described on this website. Feature access, connections and execution controls depend on your agreed package and workspace configuration.
