Tandem

When recommendations are not relevant

Find the mismatch between your intended customer and the evidence behind a result.

Classify the problem

Identify whether the account is the wrong type of company, the Signal is not useful or the suggested contact is not appropriate. A low-quality recommendation can have one or several of these issues.

Keep examples of the actual mismatch. “Outside our service area” is easier to act on than “bad leads”.

Review the approved context

Check the Company Brain for broad or outdated assumptions, then compare the Mission’s interpreted sector, size, geography and exclusions with your intended brief.

Make the relevant correction and review whether it addresses the pattern. Check evidence quality separately; changing a size range will not solve an unsupported timing claim.

Use feedback and escalate patterns

Give clear acceptance or rejection reasons where the workflow supports them. Compare subsequent opportunities against the same criteria rather than changing the goal each time.

When the same mismatch persists, share a small set of non-sensitive examples with Tandem, including the relevant rule and the reason the result does not match. Avoid sending an entire customer export when a few examples will explain the problem.

Keep your workspace in mind.

These guides explain Tandem’s product approach and the packages described on this website. Feature access, connections and execution controls depend on your agreed package and workspace configuration.
